We are a student-centred alternative provision, dedicated to meeting the needs of young people who have had difficulties learning in a mainstream environment. We offer a range of educational packages to suit the needs of the referring school and the student, including full time or part time places, small group and 1:1 learning.
We tailor our curriculum for each student in order to bridge gaps in their learning; identify their interests and aspirations; develop engagement in learning and self belief; and, ultimately, lay the foundations for a successful future.

Venture Learning has significant experience in dealing with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. With a qualified SENCo as Head of Provision, Venture Learning believe in providing the best opportunities for students, regardless of Special Educational Need or Disability, academic ability or behavioural background. We pride ourselves on creating an environment that is supportive and we encourage all students to be the best that they can be.
Therapeutic/nurture/wellbeing support:
As a small provision, we ensure that we provide an environment that is supportive and nurturing, allowing students the opportunity to reach their potential without fear of failure which will ultimatly allow them to build on their confidence and self- belief.
Our staff understand the importance of building positive relationships with pupils and this is underpinned by our strong pastoral focus. Additionally, we have a dedicated mental health and wellbeing mentor that attends one day a week to work with small groups and individual students based on need.
