Teaching Personnel East Midlands Tuition Branch
What’s on offer?
Education Agency who can provide support to schools, alternative provisions and Local Authorities. We can provide Teachers, TA’s and Tutors to undertake any requirements (either short term or long term) from the commissioner. We work closely with Local Authorities, providing specialist tutors to support children who do not have a school place – predominantly LAC or vulnerable SEN pupils – on a 1:1 or small group basis. Tutors can deliver all subjects including Maths, English, Science, Functional Skills and more, dependant on the student needs and ability levels. Tutors can support all age ranges from Primary through to Post 16. Tutors would be expected to help with raising attainment and bridging the gap in their student’s education, while the Local Authority source a school placement, at which point the tutor can support with the transition to a new provision where required.
We can also provide Teaching Assistants or Behaviour Mentors to offer more pastoral support to vulnerable pupils, who need to re-engage in their education with a positive role model. All referrals are completely bespoke and dependent on the individual needs of each child; we can then tailor a specialised package of education around these needs.
