Fleet Education Services has helped nearly 50,000 pupils achieve against the odds. We collaborate with schools and LAs across England to deliver innovative, impactful and targeted tuition or mentoring for pupils on an individual or small group basis, either face-to-face or online at school, at an agreed external venue or at the pupil’s home.
Our focus is to support each learners’ re-engagement and re-integration with education through the development of self-confidence, self-worth, and self-regulation to improve their health and wellbeing. A variety of evidence-based approaches to learning are utilised to build a bespoke programme for the learner and so raises aspirations and promotes equality of opportunity.
Fleet Educational Services support learners who are in school but need additional help through our Supplementary Provision. Learners who are not accessing mainstream education can access our outstanding Alternative Provision. We can address barriers learners may have through a Progression mentor or an Attendance Mentor.
Beyond SEND experienced educators, our Alternative Provision service stands out due to: an allocated Programme Lead who has a wealth of SEN, SEMH or SEBD expertise; THRIVE approach to support SEMH; quality assurance monitoring; examination entry; session and progress reporting that is accessible online through STEPS.
Academic qualifications:
All mainstream GCSEs can be offered. Our main business is supporting English and Maths and Functional skills
Functional skills:
We can support all functional skills (English/Maths/Digital) and Levels. We are able to offer examinations either at a centre or delivered online at home (home invigilated).

THRIVE approach to support SEMH
- The Thrive Approach is a structured framework designed to support the emotional and social development of children and young people, enhancing their wellbeing and learning capabilities.
Mentor Services; Progression and Attendance.
- The Progression Mentor will focus on developing study skills and life skills such as financial literacy, time management, planning and organisation, health and well-being and communication as well as career planning and independent living skills, tailoring the approach to the individual’s needs and goals, and providing them with relevant resources and signposting them to relevant community opportunities.
- The Attendance Mentor will work to assist pupils to overcome the barriers they and their families face with regard to attending education. A major part of the role will be to build positive relationships with the learner and parent/carers to fully understand the barriers and put practical solutions in place to overcome them. The approach is bespoke and child-centred, focusing on hobbies, interests, mental health and well-being.

For all services: · Attendance, session and progress reporting is accessible online through STEPS (our client platform). · In the case of non-attendance, a notice will be emailed to the referrer · Fleet’s dedicated Tuition Consultants will liaise with all stakeholders surrounding your learner and their educators to manage issues or concerns that could impact progress should they arise. · Quality Assurance monitoring · When attendance drops below 85% or 3 sessions are missed in a row, we will offer to switch one hour per week to an Academic or Progression Mentor, whichever is deemed most suitable, as an intervention to improve engagement.
