What’s on offer?
Accept, Learn, Thrive (ALT Nottingham) is an alternative provision based in Basford, Nottingham, offering a supportive, structured learning environment for young people who find mainstream education challenging.
We work with learners who benefit from a different approach, providing small group teaching, personalised support, and a strong focus on rebuilding confidence, motivation, and engagement with learning.
Our programme blends core academic subjects with vocational learning, life skills, and emotional wellbeing support, helping students grow both in and beyond the classroom.
We aim to create a calm, respectful environment where every young person feels safe, valued, and encouraged to achieve their potential. We make reasonable adjustments to ensure all learners can accept, learn, and thrive.
With experienced trauma‑informed and SEN‑specialist staff, alongside tailored learning plans, we promote positive behaviour, improved attendance, and successful progression into further education, training, or employment.
Parents, schools, and local authorities can trust us to provide a high‑quality alternative pathway that places each learner at the centre of their educational journey.
- KS2: Foundational learning, emotional development, and creative engagement
- KS3: Core academic development with real‑world relevance and flexible pathways
