We promote “Active learning” where our students engage with the material, participate in the activity, and collaborate with each other We offer a range of sporting activities, game playing and animal therapy alongside a comprehensive TLC programme designed to be inclusive and encourage personal development.
We offer team activities, computer learning and reading time as well as various discussion clubs, British values lessons that actively encourage appropriate interactions and build friendships.
Sensory and Physical: Therapeutic environment with bespoke package based on initial student needs and EHCP requirements. We have a “quiet room” with a low sensory space for calm and “thinking” Students are able to use quiet areas at busy times such as lunch time and free time. Activities such as Eco gardening, Animal therapy and Vet club all offer sensory and physical interaction.

SEND Provision:
High staffing ratio and bespoke placements. Specialising in managing challenging behaviour and a range of SEND. Differentiating accordingly within small groups. Skilled staff team who are very experienced in facilitating the needs of the ASC & SEMH student.
Therapeutic/nurture/wellbeing support:
Yes we offer sessions in Animal therapy, Vet club, feeding & grooming animals, Sports, reading time, Gardening project, magical maths, ICT and Behaviour management activities.
