Our infill placements are only available to Year 11 students and run from September to June and therefore we cannot offer in-year placements. Students infill into our Post-16 provision and so typically study alongside 16-18 year olds and sometimes older. Most of our infill placements are for Level 1 programmes that can include English and maths either functional skills or GCSEs depending on initial assessment results.
The Pre-16 and Schools Team not only manages the business between schools and Nottingham College but also ensures that safeguarding and learner welfare is at the heart of everything they do.
The Pre-16 and Schools Team has an impressive track record for working in partnership with schools and other learning organisations for the benefit of young people locally. We pride ourselves on the diversity of provision on offer, the high standards achieved, the quality of learning and teaching and the high progression rates into further education, training and employment. Our highly qualified and dedicated tutors have excellent knowledge and understanding of their trade and use their industrial experience and industry links to provide students with a first class learning experience.
